Hello Friends! It's been awhile (again, I know). We are getting ready to go on our yearly Kennedy Meadows vacation with a large group of friends, so I've been prepping for the big trip. Prepping and prepping and prepping some more- and I'll probably still be late to leave in the morning. :) This trip always inspires me to cook, or bake, or do something different in the kitchen. This year because Kruz is such a handful, I decided to do less but still make it fun. Today's list of to-do's was; my own peach cobbler concoction, strawberry summer cake, and spiked italian ice's (martha stewart recipe).
Can't wait for good friends and delicious food in a surrounding that only our wonderful Maker could be so brilliant to create. Will post pics next week!
This cake turned out beautiful and I had to sneak a taste when it came out of the oven... it's wonderful!
I love being able to use the strawberries from our garden- I think it makes it taste that much better :D
