Bankstons are BACK!

Hi Friends!

Ok, so I've had a few people ask about Jo's Prairie and it's been on my heart to start our family blog up again. Sooo.... we're back : ) My goal is to post once a week.

In the last few months, Kruz turned TWO, Kuper started Kinder and Kade began the 3rd grade. Today is Chad and I's 13 year Anniversary!! Amazing, right? I sure think so : )

Both the big boys are excelling in school. When I pick them up in the afternoon they are ALWAYS smiling, happy boys. We are so blessed by MLCS and couldn't imagine them anywhere else. For those who don't know, it's the private Christian school that Chad and I both graduated from. It's dear to our heart and we feel so lucky to have our boys attending.

"The Brothers"continue to have a very special bond and play very well together. There is a lot of Ninja and Spy play : ) Kruz has been growing into quite the wrestler, the wild man, the true "baby" of the family. He definitely adds a special spice to the family!!

I am proud of my October Glory trees in the back yard. I planted three of them last fall. It's rewarding to see them flourish and give us such a beautiful backdrop to the yard as they change color.

Kade had a good soccer season but was ready to go on to something new.

His something new is gymnastics. Both the boys love going to the gym so when there are no other sports going on, they take gymnastics.

Both the boys have been Daddy's boys lately. The pictures above are proof!

Growing Up

I am so proud of him and he is VERY proud of himself:)

No longer does he need brothers help when they are in the back yard playing.

He really is growing up.

Taking Suggestions

Chad and I went out last October to a friends Halloween party as the Pilot and Flight Attendant:) No parties this Fall but the boys have their costumes ready. We don't do the whole trick-or-treat deal but they dress up and give candy to the neighbor kids. I'd have to guess we have a couple hundred kids come to the door. Last year I printed verses out and included them with the candy... anyone have ideas or suggestions as to how to incorporate a positive Christian message? Taking suggestions:)
